it's the day

It's a day off school
a sunbeam's ray
it's the day,
the day to find a way,
go and fly away
playing on a lovely
day in May.

I've wished so many times
to miss a day of school
and now to find a way,
today, the way;
it's a day off school,
a sunbeams's ray
it's the day.
